Here you go friends and fans – the time lapse compilation of my recent solo photo hunt trip to the South Island of New Zealand.
Started off at Christchurch. Made my way to Lake Tekapo; to be greeted by heavy winds. At Mount Cook, it rained for 24 hours. Did my Hooker Valley trekking 2 times in the rain.
In Wanaka, the autumn colors were brilliant. And in Queenstown, went up to the top to see the city lights up after dark. Driving 30km in the dark to see the willows of Glenorchy was a great idea.
Camped at Cascade Creek before heading to Milford Sound the next day. 48 hours of no communication with the outside world, I was glad to be back in Te Anau and captured a colorful sunset. Made my way to Kaka Point and hiked 1km in the dark to see the Milky way on top of Nugget Point Lighthouse.
Decided to go up and see the sun goes down on the city of Dunedin. And changed my itinerary to make sure I repeat Mount Cook again. Alhamdulillah, it was a great weather to hike Hooker Valley track for 3rd and 4th time.
I am heading back to this wonderful country in October 2015. It’s a Guided Phototour with me. 3 more spots are available. Head to http://bit.ly/guideNZphotoHafiz for more details.
