According to the original plan, I was supposed to have 30 minutes but due to the delayed start to the Anand Kharaj, I had only 5 minutes with Nimrit & Gurmit to make beautiful outdoor portrait of them before they headed out to their lunch reception.

It was quick and fun session. 5 minutes was all I need to capture a simple yet beautiful moments for these two newlyweds.

This particular session was done back in June. But only I’d the chance to go over the images.

Y&S had contacted me from Brunei because they saw my wedding works over the internet and fell in love with it instantly. They are getting married in September 2011 and was looking for a photographer to capture and create beautiful images of their wedding.

After rounds of discussions and emails back and forth, they agreed on taking me as their wedding photographer. Yay! I will be going to Brunei in September and this will be my first trip to the country of Abode of Peace.

They came down to Kuala Lumpur in June to shop for their wedding and we’d managed to slot in an ATL session. This was the time for me to actually meet them face to face and get to know them. And they too need to know their wedding photographer! Such honesty and love between them. I simple cannot wait for their wedding!

The session was a casual and quick; and was down all around the Bukit Bintang area.

ATL session is more about communication between the couple (you) and the photographer (me). It’s an intimate session whereby the unspoken word of love get translated into (moving and meaningful) images. It’s a celebration (where having fun is compulsory) of the ups and downs of two people who are in love. It’s something for you to cherish for the rest of your life.

To sum it all, it is not just a photo shoot, it’s a celebration of love and genuine communication.

P contacted me, wanted to do an ATL session with her other half, J. We’d settled on a location – Awana Genting – since they were there for a holiday.

I’ve never met them but I believe we became friends after the session.

I had a blast capturing moments and creating beautiful images of Nimrit & Gurmit’s Punjabi Wedding celebration that last 2 nights! The celebration was held at Muar (the bride’s side) and Klang (the groom side).

I was at Muar for two nights (and was assisted by Majid) and Nazir assisted me in capturing the celebration at Klang.

Below is the Same Day Slideshow that is premiering tonight (24 July) during wedding reception dinner.

What is a Same Day Slideshow (SDS)?
A SDS is a compilation of wedding event photos that are usually taken during the morning of the day – solemnization, church, tea ceremony, mehndi etc – to be shown during the evening reception on the same day. No major edits or enhancements on the photos will be done since most of the time I will only get couple of hours to compile, select, arrange, compose and encode the slideshow into DVD playable format.

SDS is not included in my package but it is an option for the couple to purchase as an additional investment. And the SDS will be given to the couple together with their album.

I was going thru my hard disk and I found couple of photos of Aizam & Hidayat that were previously unreleased.

They’d gotten married over a year ago and is expecting their first born at the end of July 2011.

These was taken at the Federal Mosque of Kuala Lumpur.

How time flies.
