Made a decision

Hello.

I’d booked a flight to Melbourne back in April and had gotten a very good deal for my holiday break. I’m suppose to fly out of Kuala Lumpur on the 2nd July and come back on the 8th.

Looking at the current situation, I’ve made a decision to cancel my holiday. Thank goodness that I’d only booked my flight, not the accommodation and what nots. Am not ready to take a risk when the current situation is getting worse and worse.

Maybe next time.

Sleepless In KL - Several people from our office were in Shanghai 3 weeks ago. I was in Amsterdam 2 weeks ago, about the same time some of my colleagues were in Pakistan. I just got back from Capetown last Friday. And we're all okay. I suppose it's a matter of luck (rezeki). Just take the necessary precautions, make sure you're well (so your immune system is strong) and, God-willing, it should be okay.June 21, 2009 - 8:07 pm

Hafiz Ismail - Sleepless - yes. luck plays an important role. but the risk is higher when the place you are visiting has one of the most h1n1 cases. chances are, you will get it :> i rather play safe and lose rm1k flight money. :)June 22, 2009 - 10:41 am
