Hello.
Gosh! It has been long since I update this blog! Sorry guys! No excuses. My fault!
As I’d promised back in this and this post, here are the photos from Ina & Faisal’s Solemnization and Wedding Reception earlier this month.
They had the solemnization procession on Labour Day and the reception the day after.
Ina look awesomely beautiful that day! I had her stand next to a window and shot this and the next photo using available lights.
Faisal came right on time.
Available light shot.
A video light with a Tungsten White Balance mode.
Nervous husband-to-be.
Confidently.
After the solemnization procession, we had a mini indoor portraiture.
This was lighted by a candle in their room. Same goes to the shot below.
The reception was held the very next day at the Perdana Grand Ballroom, KL.
The Songket.
The Henna.
Groom getting ready.
Am in love with my video light as I shot the above and below photos using it.
A funny moments before the parade.
I saw a chandelier near the changing room and use a video light to get the shot above.
The grand hall.
The Master of the Ceremony reciting few verses from the Quran as the bride & groom walks in.
At the main newlywed table. Two off camera flash to achieve this.
It was a fun two days. I went the extra mile by bringing extra flashes to accommodate my creative juices that night. How many flashes do you think I’d used to achieve the shot above?
May is nearing the end. It’s the middle of the year already and coming June, I will be very buzy ’til the beginning of Ramadhan (which will fall in the mid of August). I am still contemplating to take a break in the beginning of July (since I have a two week break in July) . God willing, the short getaway will be finalised in the next couple of days.
Yes, I have Melbourne in mind.
‘Til the next post!
