This morning was my second visit to the BNI Lighthouse Chapter Breakfast Meeting in Bangsar. My first was two weeks before Chinese New Year and it was a great experience. I decided to sign up and attended it as a visitor the second time this morning. I was invited by my ex University friend, Nick Yeap through Facebook.

Business Network International (BNI) is all about business networking through helping members in providing sound and high quality referrals. Members meet up for once-a-week breakfast meeting as early as 7am. During the meeting, we educate each other on our business, we provide each other with high quality referral, we exchange ideas on business networking and innovation, and of course we have breakfast. Each members has their own specialty and business. Some of them have been with BNI for over 5 years, and some of them are new. Most definitely, all of them have a positive attitude towards life and business. It’s a great group to associate myself with.

From February onwards, every Thursday at 7am will be my networking breakfast with lighthouse chapter. I will need some time to get use to waking up as early as 6 am! Nevertheless, success is all about doing the uncomfortable things!
